so the clock just struck midnight and we are coming closer towards the weekend...which for me will be the lunar chinese new year on sunday. unfortunately this year i will be spending it away from my family in warm sunny weather whereas my mom and bro will probably be occupied with shoveling themselves out of the northeast blizzard! save me the red envelopes! :P
i should be preparing for the new year with a dose of big cleaning but of course i am procrastinating the night away on blogger and eating hershey kisses. =P that's gonna be what i'll be buying myself next week for valentine's day! #singlegirlproblems
seems like so there are so many holidays this month? i was talking to j earlier about an issue that shouldn't be an issue but hey...we're all human who doesn't have problems? she asked if i was okay and i said yea...why wouldn't i be? and she goes you're not mad...sad or bitter cuz i would be! not gonna lie...i'm not too happy about the outcome of the situation but i'm going to stay positive about everything and keep a positive mindset.
on a happier note i was super lucky today! i got off work and ended up walking into this puzzle zoo. all the rilakkuma bears and hello kittys attracted me into the shop of course! i saw some of my beloved tokidoki merchandise! of course brian the sales guy talks me into buying the punkstar frenzies... i was hesitant at first but he was like if you buy two and you decide that you don't like one of them...i'll let you can swap it with one of the displays. so these frenzies are collectibles that are in a tiny box...you basically don't know what you end up getting until you open them. so i'm like going back and forth and being indecisive but i end up picking two. brian was like open it open it! i'm like okay okay! i open the first one and i end up getting rocco...the boy punkstar. of course my second one i was hoping for charley! low and behold i open the second box and i spy pink hair! the expression on my face was priceless as i get a high five from brian saying we should hit up vegas! :D anyway here is a picture of my lucky purchase...i need more days like today!
i can be such a little girl sometimes ...but it's worth it when little things make me happy! :) goodnight!
